what are you crossing traps now? and where shifting at? what tire and gear. you should not be no where near your limiter at all with your setup that i know of. your rpm limiter should be around 6800 with shift points around 6500 with that cam of yours. that setup even with 26" tires youll be crossing traps right around 6700 with 410s thats saying you trap 116 or so.
    2002 Lightning - GT headed 5.5Litre w/ Twin 7665s
    2002 Silverado - 427Lsx w/ Twin gt4202s
    2010 Silverado crewcab Z71 - 5.3litre w/ procharger
    2000 Wrangler - 5.3litre with some stance
    2014 Xsport- 3.5 Eco boost
    412 Motorsports

it ain't that I'm too big to listen to the rumors, It's just that I'm too damn big to pay attention to 'em..That's the difference

Weve been over this lol... shifts at 6200rpms. 27'' tires on 4.10 gears. I trapped at 107 last time and I was a little over 6000rpms. Man we jacked this thread.

up shift points, truck will run faster!!! with the upped shift points have rpm limter raised, more room for mph. your motor will be perfectly fine at those rpms. with you shifting at 6200 youre not seeing full potential of that cam. suppose to shift 200 rpms past peak power to take into account for trans shifting

My Denali is set at 130.

My Blazer is not tuned (yet) but I'm more likely to raise it higher than the GMC because I'm more likely to try it in the Chevy. The GMC has gone 115 with a 25 MPH cross-wind and that made me want to get back in the Blazer's seat...

Sucks the Blazer shuts off so early but I think it might be better for my health that way.
