    instead of swaping motors ,just go forced induction and use the money for that.theyre isnt anything wrong with a 5.3 .look at jjturbos setup and he has a 5.3 or had ,cant remember.
    mods:2004 sierra ext sb,20s ,big brake kit w,hawk pads,air bagged,2006 6.0 lq4 swap,vortec supercharged10psi, air to water intercooled w/ dual electric fans on it ,snow meth injection kit,60lbers, e-fans ,big radiator swap ,cam 218 /222 548/550 comp .hardened prs .1.85 comp roller rockers ,guideplates ,crane double springs,trans 4l65e built .pacesetter l/ts true duals w/x pipe and magnaflows,14 bolt rearend swap ,3.73s,aroemotive fuel pump system w/elec.fuel controller and bypass regulator a/n fittings, taylor 10.5s interceptor gauge,aem w/b a/f ,autometer boost/vac NELSON 93 OCTANE TUNED .

    jj had a stock 6.0 now a 408...but yes those 5.3's are bad ass blown!!!!

    Yup put 8lbs of turbo boost on there and youll think you have a 427.

    well thing is i dont want a forced induction i want all motor so i take it a bigger engine would be the way to go if i only want to change like the heads cams n all that headers i also wanna make it carb

    yikes thx for the change of mind lol ill stick to the tb but i really just want a all motor truck nothing forced atleast not yet maybe later on i do want good milage but im sure it wont be happining

    i get 17-20 mpg blown.definately keep the tb.

    If you want all motor, go to SDPARTS.com, Katech( Katech Engine Development - Street Performance ) or TexasSpeedandPerformance.com and check out how many cubic inches you can afford to buy in a short block and you can reuse a lot of your little inch V8 to go with it. Buying a stock engine now to build later is a waste of money if you know for certain you're going bigger later. Take the plunge now and you'll save money in the long run.
