Yeah, I am fully aware of a break-in period, but I guess I didn't go to class the day when they told us we need to change our oil 3 times within the first 1,000 miles...

    Read what I said lol.
Change it once at 500. Then after you have gone 750 miles after the 500(500+750=1250) change it again. Then change it when you have gone 1,000 miles after that so 1250+1000=3500 lol.

Ok Ricky---WTF? Where did you come up with 3500 miles? PLEASE--for the love of GOD...tell me you are joking... But yeah, I misread and didn't see where you were saying "another." I was thinking...why in the Hell would you only drive 250 miles before chaging oil after the initial 500????

Youre retarded ricky, new trucks dont have a break in period unless you do work to them, we're not driving 86' short wides, and it used to be drive it 500-1000 miles change the oil and you're good, thats like pre loading on protien you gotta drink 10 cups a day to build it up in your system...... quit reading bull****......maybe if you did the work on your truck you would know this kinda stuff

My 99 has 202500 on it.
    Original motor and rear end.
Replaced the trans about 15000 ago...because I WANTED to not because it needed it.

These things will last forever if you take care of them the right way.
