A few questions for a 5.3l in a '91

Yeah, I have a C1500 93 model with Fbody accessories and everything works fine except the a/c compresser mounted low against the frame. I went with the Street and Performance High right side mount with the Sanden compresser. That kit is around $650.

Will my transmission yoke work or will I need one from a 4l60e?

the notch looks good that is what i plan to do for my swap. i would recommend getting a new compressor though before you slap it in the truck. its not that easy to chage once you have it in since its notched and on the bottom.

60e = 700r4 = turbo 350, all the same yoke if I remember correctly. I think the slip yoke even works on the Fbody 6 speed transmissions. The OBS 5speed used a TH400/80e slip yoke on my 92 truck.

Does anyone know where i can order dorman fittings from? I ordered the fitting thats comes from the filter(800-155) from summit but its backordered for two weeks.

Whats on the end of your Dorman fuel fitting, a male flare, or female pipe threads? Either one, you just buy the appropriate male barb fitting that threads on, and thats it. Just push on the hose. Personally, I have always bought the slightly more expensive Eaton-AeroQuip Push-Lok rubber hose & fittings. No hose clamps are required. Its available in either blue or black fuel line. The part number for the 3/8" blue hose is FC-332-06. It can be bought by the foot, at most industrial hose supply companies. So can the fittings, which are available in brass, nickel plated brass, or steel. When your there, ask for an Eaton-AeroQuip catalog, their free, and have everything you will ever need, in it.
