Ricky, you can pull the DRL diode or the relay. Make sure both low and high beams still operate as designed as there are some production differences. Some S-10's will have goofy headlights with the relay pulled but I think the older C trucks are OK. The diode, if it has it, looks like a fuse in the fuse panel but is black with a diode symbol silkscreened on it. The relay is behind the glove box on some, under the hood on others.

EDIT--the relay is under the LH side of the dash in the relay center and the diode is inline to the relay on a 1998 C truck. The diode is inline to the DRL/fog fuse so pulling it will do the same thing without having to find the diode. Try it both ways.
