It's gonna come with truck 2wd accessories so I should be ok as far as the PS pump goes. I didn't know that about the a/c compressor though that really sucks I wanted to be able to lay it out, I guess I could have went with the f-body pan and ran w/out a/c but I just finished notching my frame for the compressor. Anybody know of a way around this?

Can I just connect the fuel lines to the filter with fuel injection hose and clamps instead of using the quick connects? Then just run Hose from the filter to the rail ?

I am not 100% certain on this, but AFAIK, all aluminum blocks come out of the same mold. The iron-block truck a/c bracket will not bolt up to the aluminum block. You have to use the a/c bracket off of an aluminum block. The choices are F-body and Corvette LS1. The F-body alternator interferes with the steering box, so that leaves the Corvette accessories. Another option is to keep the truck Alternator/PS and buy an aftermarket high-mount a/c bracket and Sanden compressor (about $425). However, the compressor interferes with the overflow bottle which happens to be the mounting point for the ECM. Sure the bottle can be clearance and patched, but I just decided to get the Corvette accessories.

I bought the 4WD accessories with my engine, then bought a Silverado alt/PS brackt with a PS pump before I decided to go Corvette. Unless you plan to complete the swap in a few weeks, avoid all the headaches and extra wasted co$t and search for the Corvette stuff. I found everything I needed on C6 Corvette Forum | 2005 Corvette | Pictures | Photos | Forum | Forums. Lots of folks on there that sells used parts.

Oops! Just realized your 91 is not a S-truck so some of the clearance issues with the steering box and overflow bottle might not apply as it did with my Sonoma.

Yeah, I have a C1500 93 model with Fbody accessories and everything works fine except the a/c compresser mounted low against the frame. I went with the Street and Performance High right side mount with the Sanden compresser. That kit is around $650.

60e = 700r4 = turbo 350, all the same yoke if I remember correctly. I think the slip yoke even works on the Fbody 6 speed transmissions. The OBS 5speed used a TH400/80e slip yoke on my 92 truck.

Lol you had me scared for a second.

The S&P kit would be nice but I can't convince myself to pay that much to have a/c, 7 years without it in this truck so whats a little longer.

Heres a few pics of my a/c notch. I know the welds might look like $hit but there solid. Think everything will clear?
