What rear is in a 3/4 ton Avalanche? They're not common but they exist.
Machining 1/32" off the c-clip won't kill it and another 1/32"-1/16" off the back of the axle shaft won't either...I don't think...

Are you talking a full floating 1 ton 14bolt with 10.5" ring gear?
