Just above the oil filter is a block off plate with a lug sticking up. Remove the block off plate from the truck and put it in a vise. Protect the mating surface with a piece of a stir stick or something if you clamp on that surface. Take an 11/32" (.343) drill and drill through the lug into the oil galley. There should have already been a pilot hole in that location. Get a 1/8NPT tap and thread it in about 10 turns to make new threads. Screw the new sensor in after blowing the chips out and re-install it back onto the side of the oil pan. Now you're ready to wire it up.![]()
