    6.2L and tranny?

    Can I fit one of those new 6.2L engine and the tranny that the new escalade has?? theres a wrecked cadillac EXT in my town, and im interested on it...
    What do you guys think? have any of you see how do those engines respond to FI??? sounds interesting to me...

    If you can get the motor, do it. Even if you dont mod it, thats a very nice motor stock.

    it should all fit, now getting the wiring done is a different story, i guess

    There is a lot work to be done to get it the run (or more acurately, shift). It will physically fit.

    what transmission, 6L80e? I'm sure someone is working on a full manual valve body for conversions as we type.

    I was about to say, Yeah the new tranny is nice and all, But a 4l80e can fit right?

    well Im talking about buying the whole setup... engine and tranny just the way they sit on that cadillac EXT truck..
    so, if I do the swap, wouldnt be easy have my truck running the way those EXT trucks run?? I mean, its almost a new engine and tranny... they rolled him over with 9k miles on it

    do they have that 4L80E on them? arent they a 6 speed transmision? I mean, like a new style?
