    Exclamation Can anyone tell me?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

    In need of help

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ok i have had several people look at this and nobody can come up with a reason.

First i have a 1987 R-10 chevy truck that i did a LQ4 swap with a radix supercharger on it with a 3" pulley running a 2-bar map S/D i am running the turbo 350 but next week i will be putting in the 4L80E. the truck puts down 401hp with 450ftlbs.

now when i go to the track all the runs i have done i can only get 15 deg of timing not matter what we do to it. oh the truck is set for S/D but is still looking for the maf. if we disable it the truck with not start. i have posted the tunes and scans from the other night in hopes someone can tell me what i am doing wrong.
ok i can't upload the files to here if someone can help i have the scans and files all HP tuners

188 was what we started with
    1808 first attempt
1808-s1 was what we ended up with but they still didn't make a difference

here is the direct link for them
    Tunes and Scans

please let me know if you need anything else......
    thanks guys
    mike

I thought it always reads for the MAF, that fails, then defaults to SD? I thought that is how mine is set up. That is why I always have two MAF codes show up.

15* sounds low, but I think that might be a result of the heat a maggie makes?

that is what mine is doing 102 and 103 show up all the time it just seems weird that it is looking for the MAF might just be my bad. and the 15 is way low if i can get it to read 20 i would be in great shape. by the looks of it i think we have it narrowed down to the lack of electroinc tranny, in my case 4L80E which goes in next week

The 80e is damn near bulletproof. You're going to love its strength. Sounds like you have the engine combination to justify the 80e, too.

go to the help file in hp tuners and search speed density tuning. i would recomend a w/b pretty quick so you dont run it too lean.. what year is the motor? is it dbw?. the maggie heat isnt bad. your temps are fine. return max torque timing to stock and why is your map maxed out. do you actually have a 2 bar map sensor? when i do an sd tune the fueltrims are off.

the motor is a 04 LQ4 DBW. i am working on the W/B on the dyno everything is great matter of fact the guys said that they have not seen a AFR as good as this one it is almost perfect, i know dyno widebands suck or they are just saying that but the graph looked really good. yes i am sure it is a 2 bar map, we didn't think so at first but did the measurements and everything checked out. my tuner and i can noot figure out how to make the scale read more. we were concerned about the same thing hince why we double checked the map for 2 bar.
everything we have done says we are in S/D but at this point i am very frustrated becuase noithing seems to be the way it is supposed to be

go to tq management in your engine stuff and tranny i cant remember which but, you have dbw tq management still in it. im at work otherwise i would tell you the exact table. if your sd then why do you have fuel trims?

Just a few things, turn all TM off, turn your maf code back on, sd fuel parameters aren't right (just my opinion), and timing is only at 15/16 because that is what you have it set at according to the timing table.
I say according to the timing table file because for some reason your truck should be recording a lot more air on the histogram, like around .96 or 1.0 g/cyl, at least. The cells that show 16 degs in your timing table is where it should be pulling values from, but your air flow on the histgram is up near .48 g/cyl.

Maybe the write didn't work correctly.

Also, when you loaded the sd file, did you perform a Write Entire and then turn the key off for at 30secs or more when it was done writing?

    hope this helps,
    allen

i just checked with the tuner and he states that we did the sd file correct but he has always had a ? about it becuase it never goes above 105KPA. also i am at 5280 ft is that going to make a difference with the numbers you are suggesting. the track we race at is 11psi andi am running 6lbs of boost denver is approx 12psi atmosphere

nelson, should there be any reason they adjusted the max torque timing table?
