    Newbie from Trophy Club

Just thought i would share my ls s10 with you guys. there are a couple of other s10 forums but they make my head hurt.
I bought this truck from a buddy of mine who abused it daily driving it from his house in ft worth to his work in denton. Its about 40 miles for those of you not familiar to Texas.
It is a 1989 s10 2tone with with buckets and red interior. It has a 2000 corvette ls1 with a ls6 intake, backed by a t56 running through a stock width 9in with nodular center section stuffed with a full spool and 4.56 gears and 31 spline axles. I usually run a 28x9 but with the up step in power i run a 29.5x10.5 on a 15x8 wheel with 4.5in backspace and a 1/4 in wheel spacer.
He had taken it to the track a couple of times and only bested a 8.80 So after some wheeling and dealing it came into my possesion. After a little bit of seat time it would run 8.30s and that was all she had. So i stepped up from 3.55s to 4.56s and it dropped to a 7.70, still wasnt fast enough so on came the nitrous. 100 shot it went 7.10 125 it went 6.92@104. all this was on a bone stock ls motor. with my big ass in it it weighs 3120  Future plans are a 600/600 230 236 cam and some suspension upgrades with a set of drag radials. Here are some pics of it

damn, i'd say 315 is pretty low numbers for a vette motor in that little thing, imo.
