I am tired of people coming on here and bashing people and not telling the whole story. Tell me what you need and I will probably be down there next weekend to pick up my truck and I will get it. Boycotting on SSS.com is stupid!

Early last year I got a phone call late from Allen Nelson....he needed a built trans ASAP by 8am the next morning...and I so happened to just taken my stock unit out of my Joe Gibbs truck and had all my parts there. I decided to do a favor for him. I took my core and my parts and built the trans. He was supposed to bring the core out of the other truck to replace mine....well he didn't and I had to foot a 300.00 core bill and build my trans the next week. I called him and planned to go down to his shop to do a live tune. I had to get rid of the truck and couldn't make it down there. So after all this time I have been trying to get him to either ship me the core or send it back up here with one of his many north Texas customers......Now all he can say is come and get it. Well if he wasn't 5 hours away and a few hundred in fuel I would.

This story apparently was not very well know or I would have brought it back with me when I was down there getting a tune. You should have said something but then again you haven't been on here much until recently. I was down there right before last Thanksgivings and you would have had it then for sure. I'm sure someone will get it up this way for you shortly.

OK....I live further awaay than danny does and jason lives even further than that...all I do believe he should have shipped it back to danny..danny didnt have to help and be out of pocket for the core but he did on the trust of said vendor who just blew him off after he got what he wanted..

James I could careless if your a member on sss.com I have a lot of customers there and I also contribute a lot to that site...the guys there know me and I will continue to post about this there so they are aware of Nelson Performance and how he handles his business.

Danny, you know darn well you're only telling half the story. Since you brought it up, I have to reply.

Just a few things you left out: you said you would come get the core when you came down for a retune. I tried to get a customer to take it to you and he was in the Dallas area, but your words were "I live 45mins from Dallas and that's not gonna help me at all". You never asked us to send the core back until you sold your truck, not at the time of purchase. I would have charged the customer a shipping fee if I knew all this was going to happen.

If you said we were required to send a core back, we would have sent it to you, but there was no mention of it, ever, until you sold your truck. That's why it's taken a year to get your core back, not because you've been asking for a year.
We've installed dozens of transmissions and always send the core back. Trust me, I don't want your transmission sitting here either taking up room.

Also, I didn't realize you were putting yourself out to build this customer a trans. If I knew you were going to throw a fit about it, I would have just used FLT like I always do.

We had an agreement and you're the one who changed how things were going to be handled, not me.

This transmission is trash to me, I'm not keeping it out of spite, it's sitting here because you said you would come get it, I'd rather it not be here.

Alan just get my core to me....thats all I ask....I will even make you a deal you get that core to me and you can have your mods delete my account. I dont want anything to do with you or this site. Alan I have asked you over a dozen times about the core......so reminding you once a month and asking for it is more than enough. and no what I wrote is 100% correct above or I guess my saved pms from you and my notes and your receipt that your guys signed is all lying right.
