I still say all this is our fault , if we buy to much Gasoline the refineries can't keep up (so they say) and the price goes up (Commodity Traders push the price up) , now at current prices we are buying less and refineries are cutting back because of that , price goes up

The oil companies get more than .08 cents. That 8 cents is profit. The rest of the money they get pays employees, buys and maintains equipment and goes into research and developememt.

I don't really want to get in the presidentcy side of things here, but earlier in the thread someone mentioned the military not being paid enough, and I just want to say I agree fully. It seems honest people and hard working people these days are always the ones getting the shaft while the stupid damn celebrity people always act retarded and get paid all kinds of money just too act. My cousin just got out of the Marines, two months before this he had just got back from his second tour in Iraq, roadside bombs and all, gets home opens his stimulus check and gets only $300.00 freak'n dollars !!! right then and there I started looking at things alot different. P.S. thank you to all who have served and are serving in the armed forces on this forum. -Chris
