no assoc. We are donating to more then 1 charity and offering prize money and awards.
The person RKC for reason thinks we are trying to steal his idea however this is not the case, we built the site and asked him to join us to help it grow with his ideas and ours. The main reason for the site is so it is not associated to 1 club. All clubs can join and then people from other clubs do not have to set up accts on a clubs site they do not wish to be in. The main goal is to raise money for Special Needs Kids.

How long have you been around? No race/track schedule yet? I am sure once you have a definite schedule set, more people would be inclined to sign up and make a team.

Wow, the rules for the website were posted April 28, 2008? I can understand that you have to start somewhere/sometime but you have no history behind your organization. I'd be very cautious myself due to this.

See Tim who started the charity racing league originally made a post about this guy stealing his idea over on RKC and trying to do the exact samething that he has been doing for the past year and a half...i have been helping Tim out for a while in doing this...i think its kind of ****ty of this guy to play off what Tim has started and got going and to come in and try to take credit...bull****!

Yeah, it's cheesy. I wondered if it was ToplineTim or not. I worry about it being a scam more than anything. Where's the proof of moneys gathered and if it actually gets sent to the charity? At least if Tim scammed us he's the end user of the donations with his child.

Can I ask what is so Cheesie about opening a Completly legal NPO? I am not going be collecting money from people and handing it out and then not going to be bale to say who it went to. You will be able to go to the website and see who and how much went to who, it will also show every penny raised at the event. I did not start this to compete with tim, I started it so anybody could could see what race was going on with out having to join any certain car/truck club. This way it could remain Nuetral and have all clubs on it and make it easier for all clubs on it to set up races and discuss events. Tim told me he did not know me and did want to join up with me. I understand that, but did everyone who attended his 1st event up to the last event know tim? I don't think so, I attended my 1st event on the 19th and had never met tim or been 1 his events. I still had no trouble donating to it along with countless others. So what is the diference in his or mine? I also told him I would have problem donating to the same people he did. Plus other charities in DFW. Things on RKC got way out of hand and it is going to do nothing but hurt the people who need the donations.

You need to get your story straight. That is the third one I have heard from your side on this issue. The original version being that site was created to help Tim because he didn't have the time to create the site and yall just wanted to help him. I'm with Virgil, you're full of ****.

first off i would like to thank you for joining up over here on LS1truck and i hope that you can bring something to the table that we can all learn from

with that said i would like to point out like others have in here that you are not affiliated with the original charity league that i posted about... i know you have somewhere in your heart there that you wanna help a charity out, but by tryin to steal people away from one races to come to yours or vice versa only HURTS the charities.. it will pull people to one or the other or make them decide to not get involved at all...

personally i will support tim's charity as i hope many will do.

again welcome aboard and hope that you can provide some helpful info and have a good time.... even after your rocky start here haha

Do you have your NPO registration posted somewhere? I know you have to be registered with the state to be classified as an NPO and they issue documentation and register you on the states NPO database.
