Is this much blow by normal. Keep in mind I have no idea what I am doing. I am just trying to make progress using the ls1tech how to as a guide.
Cam is out. Got to go get some cleaner and lube for the new cam.

99RCSB Broke because I wasted thousands and thousands of dollars on my truck.
That is not normal. Try hitting the top of the valves with a wooden hammer handle to reseat the valve. Maybe it has some dirt in it.

no doubt, smack those valve a couple times with a rubber mallet. If it doesnt quit you need a valve job.

OMG Zeake...I have NEVER seen blow-by that bad...EVER. Yeah, I always take a rubber mallet (or regular hammer...) and give the top of the valve stems a little tap-tap. It reseats them like everyone else it talking about.

That is air leaking past the piston rings. Not out of the ordinary. Put a couple drops of oils in the cylinder and most of it goes away.
