    yea its ticking. i am thinking thats an exhaust leak? it gets worse when i open the e cut outs.

    im not happy at all. i feel sick to my stomach, oscar will only send me a 2006 motor WHEN i send him mine but then i have to pay shipping again ? what the heck.

    i have tried everything i can to fix it.. next would be to take the piston out and im not takin the head off again and the oil pan out :bsflag:

    Damn Ricky, try setting your camera down a little harder next time! And your truck CAN go over 50 mph you know...

    Hmmm...I listened to it again and I did notice a slight ticking... It sounds like an upper end thing...anything from a bad lifter, bent pushrod, bad rocker, to a damaged valve spring. But I am sure that Ricky would have noticed a bent pushrod. And Jr would have noticed a bad spring when he put everything back together. But a bad lifter? Has that been checked? A bad lifter could also round off and damage one of the lobes on the cam for the #4 cylinder...

    the rods were ok, and springs were good. i have 3 options right now and touching the motor in any way or dumping money into it is my last resort
