Yeah, unless you know what they have on them, even HUGE 1 ton diesels will literally smoke you... And Cummins motors are badass when modded...I have a friend who did all kinds of stuff--I would list, but I don'e wanna waste time--but essentially it is an 07 3/4 ton Mega Cab 4x4 with 6" lift and 20's that runs high 11's on a medium tune... They are so unsuspecting--if I saw his truck, I would admire it for looking badass and try to stomp him--but I would be the one eating soot!

ya all they have to do is spend 2500 and their truck is damn near 1000 hp. they buy a cold air intake which boost a diesel like 40 hp buy a bully dog which can boost up to 300+ and a custom exaust and they are already at 800 then spend 300 more dollars on a programmer and some trucks benefit over 100 more horses with just the programmer. not fair.
I thought about hitting the spray but their was no point i wasnt racing him for money or anything but it still would have been bad a** though

It happends man, I haven't lost to a diesel yet but I know the time is coming. All this talk about diesels makes me wanna sell my ride and get one since they are so easy to make fast.

i have a little sneeky pete series nos kit but nothing big. i know i might possibly to blow my motor but then i have a reason to build a better one. my mechanic tells me the block is thick enough it should be able to hold but im not positive on that.

Yeah, the LS 5.3L block can handle up to 550RWHP safely. You are pushing it, but it can handle it--for a while. Get the intercooler and meth on there. It will run 10X better!

The best advice I have ever heard:... Only take B( . Y . )ST advice from someone that is CURRENTLY running a turbo setup close to, or bigger than what you want......
