and also it looks like im gonna get a 3000 stall for a good price. would i be able to thow it in before i do a cam or is it one of those things that i do together. cause my truck is a dog anything below 2800 rpms. and i just got my tranny rebuilt about 3000 miles ago with a few upgraded parts and i also put in billet servos. is this gonna put alot of excess wear on my tranny or should i not be worried?
GenIII engines have roller camshafts so no would be the answer about using a flat tappet camshaft in your late model engine.
See my truck data in the "My Garage" section here... http://www.ls1truck.com/forums/my-ga...tml#post191709
Yeah Greg---I saw that too, and i was like, "Uh...we don't have flat tappet--we have roller." Anyway, please consult Texas Speed for your cam needs...

ok im an idiot. what about my second post about the stall?
just throw the stall in whenever it dont matter what time you put it in at....stalls will cause the trans to run a little warmer but you prob dont need to worry about it
