I tapped the oil return fitting that bolts to the oil pan ledge just above to oil filter. Tap it 1/8npt and thread the oil pressure gauge from the old engine into the hole. Water temp can be threaded in anywhere you can fit the sender from the old engine. You could tap the water pump or use a adapter to mount it in the passenger side rear of head.
