95 didn't have an LS1...the first year of the LS based motor was in 97 in the vettes.....what you prob have is an LT1

True, no LS1s in 95. Take a pic and post it up and we'll let you know what you have. What did it come out of?

Dont waste your time. The first time you go in for an inspection they will laugh you out the door and tell you the truck has an illegal swap according to CARB regulations that most states have adopted. Your V6 has almost the same HP as the 05 Fbody LT1 had.

Generally you need an engine that is the same year or newer than the year of the truck. at least that is the way things are here.

Anyone know something different?
