Have you tried to weld a nut to the broken part to get it out?

man that sucks. might be time to upgrade, you can call up patriot performance and get a set of new 243 LS6 heads with LS6 springs for 450, and they will boost your CR alittle for alitle more power.
Somthing to think about.
it broke clean off even with the head. then thats where I f'd myself by trying to use and easy out.
i have drilled down somewhat and Im certain the easy out is gone
and i have drilled off center and at an angle.
then i started a new hole
ARE these bolts hardened? they r a bitch to drill

Gotta consider they get heat cycled while the truck runs. You can always put a helicoil in the hole if you get it oversized a bit while trying to fix it.
