    Well mine has been welded fo atleast a year now and still no problems. Its all up to you. Shaved tailgates arent to bad to do either.

    what type of welder are you using to do that? also do you just keep tacking the roll pan until it makes a complete weld all the way down ?

    Millermatic mig welder. 23 wire. I just keep tacking it in dif spots untill it is all the way welded.

    My roll pan always cracks out. The last time it was done, the crack started after only 2 months. I've also got a crack by one of my Caddy tails.

    I Burn it in at the body line on the back of the bed, sand and buff it and your good to go.

    How much are you usually charging to do this kind of side job? You can PM if you prefer.. I'm interested in getting some body work done to the silvy.
