Honestly, I don't the answer to that.
When we did the '97 6.0L/80e conversion from a 350/60e, we used a HD 3/4 ton transfer case from a '97 3/4 and the stock driveshaft and front shaft fit, with no modding, not sure how that worked.
OR,
Just get yourself a Level 5 Finishline Transmissoin trans and that will hold up.
I only did the 80e because this avalanche weighs a ton.
