Thanks for the help guys. I spoke with Sparky yesterday and he seemed real helpful. Going to try and get the truck to him later today or Sat a.m.

One more question I've got is the 3/4 is slipping pretty bad. I can get it to speed if I let off between shifts and don't make more than 10-15% throttle transitions. I'm thinking I may need to haul it over there instead of driving...its probably 30+ miles from where I live.

If I haul it, can I put it on a dolly (rear wheels down, front up) or do I need to get a full carrier? Its 4WD. I could look in the owner's manual but its at the house...in the truck.

you can do side roads, too. Break out the Mapquest.com and use it to find a path. I'm sure Friday afternoon you'll have no problem keeping to below 40mph on 635 and 30. Doesn't Scyene street parallel 30?

True that on <40mph on 635!!! Guess I'll just jump in there...mix it up and give everyone an excuse to have a drink when they get where they are going. They should appreciate me! I've been supporting dependencies since 1976!

Yeah - what Greg said....you'll be fine on the freeway during rush hour. You likely won't make it above 40mph anyway.

Scyene runs east to west - Military runs west to east. But that follows 80 not 30.

    Where are you coming from?

Assuming you're coming from the Dallas area:

Just go I-30 and keep your flashers on. Take the Horizon exit but stay on the I-30 service road, take that to 205/Goliad, take a left and go about two miles. It's on the right side before you get to Ridge Rd.

If you need to haul it, just disconnect the driveshaft by the 4 carrier bolts at the rear where it goes into the rearend... A 7/16 wrench I believe...

11mm and leave the driveshaft in the tail housing of the transmission/t-case or you will leak tranny fluid all over the place

Coming from Lewisville.....about 40 miles one way. The way things are in the orifice today, looks like tomorrow a.m. before the trip.

If I disconnect the driveshaft, do I just pull it up and tie it to the frame?

If I did that, the wife would less involved in the process and that would be a VERY good thing!
