    Got my new pump in

    I got my new fuel pump in last night at midnight. took alot longer then I was planing being the second one I have done this year. I bought my pump from Billy at TRT Turbo. Man does that thing make a night and day diff she really goes now. I also found out that I have a bad IAC sensor and the rear brakes r shot oh well but at least I can squeel and peel

    i saw you were having a hard time ,did you use the zip tie trick i told ya too ,to hold it in ?

    how did the fuel pump make such a difference? were you maxing out the stocker?

    the stocker was bad only. 40 psi when truck was running

    had my father inlaws fuel press tester but I am going to buy a fuel press gauge so I can monitor it.

    I did the same thing took me a while after busting 2 fuel pump lines i setteled on blue 300 psi fuel hose and stainless clamps that are smooth on the inside and notched the plastic houseing to accomodate the head of the screw in the clamp. I have not had any problems since then.. I am an expert now im removing the fuel tank from my truck, I can do it alone in about 10 minutes...Mine idels at 50 psi and under load runs close to 60 psi. One question for you guys some time under heavy acceleration i hear what could be knocking or pimping or something. Seems to make a sucking noise above 4000 rpm and thoughts????
