    The air bar is a 4link system. You really need a 4 link to hook good, that or a CalTracs system in addition to the stock system.

    You could back-half it with a four link and coil overs, tubbed rear and super wide mickey thompsons.

    I would find a rearend out of an SS with the breaks and I think it is a 14 bolt.
    I think it is stronger than the T-A rear end. Unless you have the rear out of the TA laying around.

    i would go somewhere and get a newer rear out of a truck and if you wanted to stay with 5 lug like your wheels then just swap the axles.... then posi..... then gears.... then rip it out and do a mosier 12 or 14 bolt.... then tub it.... ok ill stop now

    I did a disc brake conversion. disc brake swap - FSC Forum
    I used the s10 calipers and an adjustable portioning valve I love it. My truck stopped a lot shorter.
