Well, I am fighting myself everytime I start looking at this site or performancetrucks. I'd love to go nuts on it and change almost everything, but I swore to myself that I would leave it operating like a stock vehicle. Now granted, I've lowered it and put different wheels on it, but that doesn't really affect the driveability. I don't want to have to deal with crap like a big cam/stall converter and worrying about programming, or header leaks and rattly exhaust crap. It may sound gay, but I want a vehicle that does what it's supposed to all the time. The reason I would put a radix on it is because from everything I've seen and read about them, they are one of the most reliable/driveable modifications to do to a 5.3L. I've already got my camaro that is fast and modified to hell...I don't need my daily driver to be that way too. You know?

I'm also going to try and get some new pictures this week since the weather is supposed to be nice.

Who all lives in Wylie and where? [/b]
Ahhh, whatever---you NEED the mods!!! If you go modest with your mods--like long tube headers, off-road y-pipe, CAI, throttle body, pulleys, small cam, etc, you won't need a converter. You will want to beef up the tranny a bit though...

Leaky headers? Not a problem...I have a secret way---take the new gasket, spray 3M Super 77 adhesive on there, wrap foil around the gaskets twice, then install. I have never had a leak.

Programming? Have Allen Nelson or Dustin at TRT flash your PCM. Nothing to it.

Rattly exhaust? Go to a good muffler shop.

And as for Wylie---Search the Members section...Sprayed99, XLR82X2, etc... PM those guys. They are cool and know a lot about modding...
