According to CompCams CamQuest and DesktopDyno 2003 (take that with a grain of salt), torque is supposed to peak at 2k and hold steady until about 3,500 and then start dropping off. Horsepower is supposed to peak around 4 grand and hold until 6, and that's without a tune factored in.

I've really only driven manuals, so modifying automatics is still something new to me. I'd like to hold off on tranny mods until I get a feel for the new motor. I also tow 4-5,000 lbs around once in a while and don't really want the extra heat a high stall will generate.
