didnt ever find my truck, but have purchased a 87 K5 blazer, will pick up my 5.3 tomorrow and start over, but this one is going to be a whole lot harder for them to steal!!!!!

Did you have any anti-theft devices in the 83? If not, I would suggest installing some simple devices to prevent losing another.
