So your trying to tell me vibrations and improper installation caused Mic's?

Kyle improved his kit beyond belief. He just used it in a kit that went 9s. That says a lot in itself.

also that setup that fail didnt make for power either, hight back pressure issues will restrain a setup from making its full potential on power, along with other things

up till jared i had made the most power with a Kyle manifold/style setup. but i also reconfigured the dyno to read that high, not that a pt88 at 16psi wont make any numbers either...............so a kbracing setup is more then capable of producing over 1k hp in the right hands, in the wrong hands then youll have issues

good job Kyle for making big power with fence post for tubing
You should also make sure when you tell people the exact numbers you made. Your dyno video title says 698, but the graph the video shows 696, and on FSC you said 705. Which is it

Anyway... Here's a redneck vid to get you guys by...

YouTube - 9 sec Z71 at Sac raceway

Hence why I said "usually people fix there stuff and make it better as they go along" and Jarrett just went 9s with your kit...

i said 702, video is one of the pulls as i stated. ive posted dyno slips showing 702 and showing 700 on another pull. but then again my truck never made the numbers it did cause no way 12s=that kind of power. i guess 13s or even 17s slips mean less power right?

also if you knew anything about a dyno sheet you would know you can slide the cursor thru the entire range and see what the figures look like. so the cursor is at this point of graph its going to read this value, if you slide cursor it reads that value. On camera you film what is shown, but i wouldnt expect you to know that since im full of language

last i checked your dads truck still going strong and you never had any issues with your old t4 setup either
1rst set was my dads 72, no gussets, 3 years still going strong. (I was still rockin the STS on my 4.8 at the time, )

2nd set was my old T4 set, no gussets, ran on my truck (12.2@110 with the T70 at 8k+ DA) for 2 years, still going stong on another member of this site's truck.

3rd set Thunder550 Truck, no gussets, (was a buddy deal ) Went 11.2, 12xmph in 5400lbs truck still going strong 2 years later on another truck on PT.net.

4th set, first set I sold, to Turbo Mic. Made good power, but he's crossover broke. I felt REALLY bad, nobody likes a failure, I offered everything I could to make things right. Changed the kit with the added gussets to prevent it from happening again.

...More then a dozen kits and even more manifolds and NO other failures that I've been told about and now deep into the 9's... I'd say its WELL proven power maker!!

Lol, i was running 15 psi on low and 18-20 psi on high setting. I blew the crossover up 3 times before i rebuilt it and have had 0 issues since. Maybe i installed the crossover backwards right nestle quik... Kyle did offer to rebuild it for the price of new better material, if i would pull the manifold off and ship it back to him...i chose not to waste the time to pull the whole kit off, and built my own crossover. I personally think that he just got a bad batch of material for the crossover i had, or some how when i had it coated it got weak. Either way, its fixed. The end

The best advice I have ever heard:... Only take B( . Y . )ST advice from someone that is CURRENTLY running a turbo setup close to, or bigger than what you want......

Congrats, that thing is moving out for sure. What kind of dr's were used? I have been having issues spinning in 4wd off the line if I boost up over 6psi or so.

So a KB kit at a lower altitude will knock off 3 tenths in the 1/4? Didn't this truck go 10.0's numerous times at Bandimere with a Trick kit? (5000+ DA).... since we are all bench racing here

    Congrats to Jarret!!

Actually, I believe he was running mid 10's in Denver at mid 120's mph. The 10.33 at 129 was at a sea-level track, not sure which one with trick pipes and the TC76. Obviously, the majority of the gains came from a bigger turbo and more boost, but a bigger 3", more flow oriented manifold and 4" down pipe had to help.

So the new setup picked up about 3/4 of a second and nearly 15mph! (<--that's HUGE!), It's not like were talking about going to a 12.7 to a 12 flat... He went from REALLY fast to RIDICULOUSLY fast! LOL Thats a whole lot harder,

I build the kit so he could switch between the Tc76 and the PT88 in about 10 minutes and he did have the TC76 on it for a little while to start with and he said it did feel much peppier on the street and had to richen up the tune over the old setup.
