The unit is physically about the same size as a single DIN headunit. IIRC the 95-98 CD player/99-02 tape player were narrower. It wouldn't just slide in where the 99-02 tape player was. You would have to fab something up to make it work.
I took this out and replaced it with a single DIN delete pocket until I get a 6-disc DVD player to put there.
