    crappy time!! help please

hey there... i went to the track yesterday.. first time ever, just trying to get my truck's time before i install my vette servo, hd-2 shift kit and my nelson programmed pcm...
well things didnt turned out the way ui was expecting... my tine was 15.88!! im absolutley not happy with that... do you think something is wrong with my truck?? my upgrades.. fast flash programmer... air aid cai, poweraid tbs, jba headers (shorties), magnaflow catback, 4.10 ratios and posi rear end... rcsb 4wd. got off the line in 4wd and then took it off in 2nd gear... whats wrong? or is that normal?

You have high expectations for a stock heavy beast. You have done mods but nothing to really get any great gains out of it. 12 second 1/8 mile runs are very common of 4wd trucks if they don't have a ton of work done to them. Time to dig a lot deeper in the pocketbook to buy some forced induction.

4wd really weighs a truck down. Your shorties, programmer, and tbs are probably making minimal gains. That leaves the cai, catback, and 4.10s, so I would expect you have dropped about .5 second off your stock time. Those times are probably about right, but once again, what motor and vehicle are you running?; stock tires?

You've scratched the surface for performance mods... I'm right around the same level.

bro loose the programmer, shorties, and get a tune and some long tubes. Dont feel bad though. thats about right for a 4wd reg cab. I estimate with the nelson tune and lt's you would see a 15.0 @ 88mph. 13.90's with spray.
