Any good flowing ported head with the same CC value as what is in your vehicle. You can decrease the CC size to raise compression if going NA or increase the CC size to lower compression for forced induction at a later date. Trick Flow, AirFlowResearch(AFR), Patriot Performance, TexasSpeed&Performance.....

Nelson Performance tune. Look at the top left of the page. 35hp 1 second off 1/4 mile better gas mpg. best investment because free retunes so it will grow with your truck
I love mine, best thing ive ever bought for any ofmy rides.

As Far as heads go, i too have a 4.8l, and have talked to a guy by the username of Gator on here, and he has the 243 casting heads, and has had some great results out of them... He's a real cool, and easy guy to talk to maybe pm him and ask him any questions... If i remember correctly, those heads come out of like the gto's or something... you can find them on Ebay..

Yeah, 243 heads were originally Corvette LS6 heads and then they started putting them on the 6.0L GTOs minus the longer sodium filled valves. You'll lose some compression but be able to add more timing.
