    WTB: 4L60E Stall

    Looking for a stall for my 4L60E in my 99 Silverado 2wd

    Preferably used in good shape. Let me know what you have. A TB coverter would work to.

    99 4x4 5.3 NELSON TUNED / 02 Ls1 CAM / 02 Ls1 "241 Heads" Port/Polish milled .045" / 03 INJECTORS / AIR RAID JR. INTAKE / PORTED THROTTLE BODY / TR55's / EGR DELETE / E FAN's / CAT DELETE / EXHAUST DUMPED

    Headers, Transgo HD2, 3200 stall, 4.56 gears coming soon.....

    guy I bought my injectors from, had a brand new permabuilt for sale week or 2 ago. He had super quick shipping, was packaged pretty good. Might want to try that route.
    blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum

    you cannot put an LS1 style converter on a non-LS1 transmission, IIRC because the input style is different. The older style has a small, about 3/8", guide. The LS1 style has a blunt end on the input shaft.

    I'm really confused. OP has a 4l60e, the thread I'm talking about http://www.ls1truck.com/forums/sale-...ns-cooler.html also has 4l60e

    V6 conversion to V8 is what I am speaking of. Be sure you're matching up the correct converters and transmission styles.

    he has a 5.3


    and the 4.2 tb converters fit in our trannys no prob, and stall 1k higher (though they can't handle as much power, so I'd personally never do it)
    blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum
