    Bad day at track...

Welp thinking I had my issues lined out we set out to the track yesterday. Well I ran 14.1 on motor a few times. WHICH was a disappointment.... But Still thinking low 13s is feasible on n2o I turn the kit on. It purges fine. Kit seems like it was ready. Welp line up. Get a decent bite off of the line, Flip the switch as soon as it hit 2nd and Nothing. No extra pull. No different sound to the motor (mine gets alot louder when its sprayed on... if thats normal) Get back to the pits. Climb around tinkering. EVERYTHING seems right. So round two. SAME result. IT CANT BE WORKING to only get a 14.0 as a best for the night.... SO pissed off by the end of it, I didnt even say bye to 408 and his crew that were cool enough to show up with some AWESOME rides. (My bad bro when you read this, long night)
So we leave the track get maybe two miles down the road get a call. "Billy had a blow out". Bill who is one of my best friends that always comes to watch me race and help any way he can. Hes cool like that. So I turn around go back. And bad luck continues. (Aside from the plus side of having a floor jack with me!) We get his truck jacked up. Get out my break over bar and low and behold My 3/4 socket wont fit in between the rim and the lug nut. It needs a thin barrel or a 19mm short barrell.... WELL I guess it was a bad spot of the road cause less then 100ft away another truck breaks down. Luckily they fixed theirs quickly before we could really help them. So they did have a short barrel 19. Throw it on there and take off both rims on the driver side. We had to take a Silverado spare I had and put on his. (He drives a colorado. Although the lug pattern is same the center bore is different) So we put a bad tire he had on the back on the front and my spare on the back.... GUESS WHAT the spare is bad as hell he drives like 1/4 mile and you can see the tire itself wobbling from being unused.... So we haft to take the back roads to the house going under the speed limit. Got home at around 1:30a.m. and was SUPPOSED to be up getting ready for work at 4:00. Ended up just calling in cause I was so tired I couldnt work a 12 hour shift.... (long post right)

dude, that sucks. Do you have a fuel pressure safety switch that wasn't working or maybe your RPM window switch wasn't working.

No problem dude. My luck turned to SH-T also. After trying to get it straight down the track I finally give up since I was keeping it in my lane. So I decided well lets spray it. Last run I did and chunked the belt just before the finish. Lights go dim. no power steering, temp goes out of sight and anti freeze all the way around the turn. Get a tow back to pit and find belt and put it back on thinking everything was alright. NO Head out and get almost to 165 and guess what it's hot again. Limped across the highway and parked it and rode home with my brother. Come to the house get the trailor and go get it. Got home at 4 am and kids get up at 9 am. Mine will be towed to track now and towed back home to keep this crap from happening again. I will wash it and when I get back from vacation next week will start to work on it. best N/a was 12.6 @ 106 w/ 1.8 60' and 12.3 @ 116 on spray w/ 2.1 60'. Didn't get into spray till about 150' out to keep from spinning. It has a mid 11's hopefully in it.

No it's 50 Really a 200 but heater quit working on drive to track so I only had 750 psi and I didn't get in the spray till about 150' mark. First time spraying it on track and was walking real bad. I need to break down and get some 10" rims. I'll get it down there one day. Suspension is bottoming out and bouncing off the bump stops causing it to break loose. I have only run it on the street and haven't had this problem since all I can do is from a roll there. Think I am going to put the overloads back in and cut stops a little and see what that does on motor and go from there. Once I get N/A figured out and hooking then I'll start on spray hard.

408 your truck was running mean. You are really needing to break down and lower that pressure a bit. 20 psi was too much for how much power you have. If you could get it to hook and spray off the line.... 11s would be REALLY easy for ya. Looks like it was just a bad weekend for all our group. Taylor should be glad he didnt make it haha.
And Imma try and find out soon brad. next few days anyway
