    Is the 6.0 the best?

I started another thread like this on fullsizechevy. Everyone said its a great motor. Others said there is other really good motors to. After I met all the guys from performance truck.net i saw that they are all running with the 6.0.

I am talking these guys are making some serious power. Any input?

LS3 will beat the pants off a 6L engine without any modifications.

at $13000 for a base engine it better. Add another 3-4k for everything to make it work. The ls7 engine is old technology, too, and it would only take about $3000 in work on the LS3 to beat an ls7. GM built too good an engine in the ls3 making it really hard to sell the Z06 packaged Vettes. Lets talk LS9!

I will like my 6.0...once I dump some money into it.

then again you still get a 6.0 with a few bucks into it making more power then both of those.

right around 550rwhp seems to be limit on NA rwhp motors before they get to radical to some. a healthy 6.0 can get there same as a 377 as in 6.2 or 7.0

Same HP level and close to 100 lbs heavier still means slower in the long run.

i would say depends on the application the LQ4 would have my money over the ls3 for boost any day and as far as cost for the price of a ls3 you can make a Lq4 way more powerful 6.0 ftw
