Are yall having to run transmission coolers with 3600 stall converters with your full size trucks? What is the best converter out there?

you would def. need a tranny cooler with a 3600. i run a cooler with my 2600 converter.
also i have installed alot of coverters and i really like yank. ive never had one go bad on me or my customers.
As far as converters go, Vigilante is probably one of the best but you will pay for it. My Yank is doing just fine.
For the trans cooler, you might want to look into a TruCool 40,000 GVWR. It'll keep your temps where they need to be or in my case much lower (50 degrees below ambient)!!!![]()

Sorry....meant above ambient!!! Basically when we have the cold weather like we've been having (40's) my trans temps stay around 95 - 100!! I think I need to get a bypass!!

What do yall suggest as transmission cooler for a 2000 Z71 that is not a difficult install.
Tru-Cool MAX transmission cooler with external thermal bypass: Bulkpart transmission parts don't use the hose clamps that come with it. go to the parts store and get some fuel injection hose clamps.
