Just got done tuning JJ's yellow STS truck after a few upgrades. With a fuel cell, good lines, Aero Pump, and 78-80lb injectors, this thing kick ass!!!
The injector flow rate is now at 52% and fuel pressure stays at a strong 58psi.

The stock 6L is pushing 14lbs of boost in third, so hopefully we'll see some 11's from it.

This truck definitely hauls ass.

I tuned this truck in speed density mode and it works very well. Nice start ups, great drivability and holds a solid 11.2 a/f ratio through all gears.
Once a truck gets this far, there's no other option.

Not sure what this post is about, lol, just figured some of the info would helps someone.

Yeah Allen I was wondering if you actually did much SD tuning. Do you use the 1bar OS? I see guys all the time over on the Hptuners forum running SD, but I was unsure how often you used it. Is farmtruc going to use an SD tune?

Ya, the truck will be SD tuned, especially at 18psi, hehehe.

Well, JJ's truck didn't run so good. We came to the conclusion the stall converter is just too damn loose and doesn't load up the converter.
He has a 3200 stall in it, and at the light, I can easily get 5KRPMS!!!! from the converter. It just stays at the high rpm level and doesn't pull very strong. This is through 1st and 2nd.
Once this bad boy hits 3rd gear, the converter locks, 14psi comes in and it's gone!!! When the converter is refreshed, all gears should do this and low 11's are in reach.
We'll get it, definitely next time.

see ya,
allen
