Ok guys, me and a mechanic friend of mine just installed the vette servos in my 2002 rcsb Z-71 today. After we got through he took his tech 2 and cleared the taps on my computer to help it relearn the shift points. Now I have a question. When you go Wot it will make a squeal/squek sound on the 1-2 shift. Also it is extremely hard shifting(1-2) in tow haul. He said that this would go away in a 100 or so miles. Does this sound right to everyone? Could this hurt anything? Please give me some help here anyone!!

Not sure where your squeak is coming from but in my truck WOT and tow/haul i had a belt that would slip or something and make that kind of noise. After changing the belt it never came back.

Did he use a gauge to check the 2nd gear band apply pin adjustment? Too loose and it could be the band slipping. If all he did is replace your stock parts with the Corvette parts, the manufacturing tolerances may be loose enough to affect the band adjustment. Hopefully he didn't install any shims/spacers that would limit the amount of piston and pin travel.
