Angry Love pecan pie. Hate pecan trees

My truck has been getting washed three times a week lately due to pecan tree sap. I woke up at 5:30 again this morning to warsh both of me vehicles. I hate pecan trees, I can't wait to get my shop built behind my house so my truck can stay in the garage once again! Just thought I would vent a little bit.

I'm getting a cover for it since I get paid today. When it's windy it gets ALL OVER the sides and everything so I'm not sure a canopy would help any. I don't care if Ashlei's jeep gets it. I just don't like my baby getting rained on by sap. Sunday I could actually see the sap flying at it. I have a 30' and my next door neighbor has about a 40' one. It pretty much comes off with plain water but it's a pain none the less.

Don't complain too bad. It could be worse...like a pine tree and birds. I mean pine sap mist with a few big drops and a whole bunch of bird crap. ALL OVER.

Thank god I park in the garage.

Take the chainsaw outside, start it up and let the tree see that you mean business!

    No more sap!

    Stock up.

or cut it down the stupid tree.
I reckon both are good solutions.

Oh pine sap is by far worse. I'm glad the pine tree that used to be right nextto the driveway is gone(do you remember that one bernie?). Cutting it down won't work cos my next door neighbor has one that is even bigger than mine. Plus mine makes some damn fine pe-cans. At least it's only a problem for a few months out of the year, but between finishing my house and waking up at 5:30 every other morning I'm getting worn out fast.

Ive got the same issue with the gigantic maples in my front yard. Every morning it looks like a fine dew all over, especially the windshield. Stupid trees, cant live with em cant live without em

    "Warshed." HAHA. Awesome.

    Funny story about pecan trees:
My friend has several in his yard and was sick of the shells. He could never walk barefoot in his yard. He had the STUPID idea of collecting them to sell (drunk idea one night). The next day, we went to the local Ace Hardware to see if they had some kind of shovel or something to pick them up. He walked in and asked the 18 yr old girl who worked at the cash register (in a really loud Redneck type of voice), "You have any nut grabbers?"

Funniest crap I have ever heard! The register girl was stunned and didn't know what to say. I started laughing uncontrollably and walked down the nearest aisle. Then a middle-aged man who worked there came over and asked him if he was looking for the tool that picks up pecan shells....
