my truck makes a odd noise like a ringing or banging under the truck around the flywheel. When i put it in gear it gets more noticeable, and my truck hesitates tot ake off. It kinda shakes a little bit and feels like the brakes are locked up but they are not. what could this be, and how do i fix it?

Ouch, sounds like you blew the torque convertor.

It could be loose bolts on the converter to the flywheel. The noise could be triggering your knock sensors and cause the PCM to retard timeing(the hesitation you are experencing).

if it sounds like a marbles rolling around in the dryer you have destroyed your torque convertor. Only way to be sure it to drop the tranny and first check the flywheel around the center bolt holes for a crack. Otherwise it's a sure bet you killed the vert.

if you broke the fly wheel the truck wouldnt move. My buddie broke a stock fly wheel he had ended up having to have 2 of them welded together for strength
