    226/226 112 cam tuning help

    Hey guys,

Just installed a 226/226 112+2 cam i was wondering if anyone knew what i could tweak on hp tuners to keep it from dying when i come to a stop.

Also if anyone knew how to keep my truck from flooding on start up would be great. Just trying to find a temporary fix untill nelson get back to me with a tune.

    P.S. I upgraded from a 207/218 117(ls6 cam)

Stock idle RPM is really low. I set mine to 675, might help to even go to 750 or 800 with that cam

I have HPTuner and I still have Nelson do my tunes. The man is a genius and can do a better tune in 30 minutes than most guys can do logging and tuning for weeks on end. I just had him tune my GMT900 and all I can say is "WOW!"

    Hp tuners & Nelson Tune

I had HP tuners before i had nelson tuning when i actually saw the program hp tuner i was over whelmed so many adjustments that could be made. But instead of me having to send nelson my whole computer from my truck and pay shipping he can just email me a tune and i can load it on right away. Much easyer.

But back to the idleing and flooding issue. Should i set the whole table straight across at 800 or should i start at like a 1000 and work my way down to 800 at idling temperatures?

Set it at 800 across the board. if thats to low just bump it up a little at a time.
    Step 1. crus at it.
    Step 2. get a hammer.
    Step 3. torch it.

BTW, filled up my first city driving refill and picked up 2 mpg! This thing jumps crazy hard when I nail it from a rolling start.
