a turbo would love 4WD...
Tur BO Yes turbos love 4wds. R U mostly off roading or street. Off road I'd go with a TVS 1900 or 2300. Street = front mount trik turbo.
since you just ordered long tube headers and off road pipe, I would go with a supercharger TVS 1900.
x2
THANKS!! Where can I find the TVS's?? and whats the difference between 1900 and 2300???
Size. Go with the big one. No such thing as too small.

Yeah, a TVS system would work well. There have been good results from a 1900 on 5.3L motors. Not sure if the 2300 is too much blower for the 5.3L... Since the new TVS system has come out--the Radix systems have gone down in price. The Radix is still a good unit which makes good power (+~150rwhp), but you WILL need to invest in a meth kit to keep the IATs down...
Mic, your Tahoe ran 108 mph compared to this truck ,lol. that tahoe is in the 12's for sure with a good launch.
Iat's are more than under control with the tvs system. The iats actually get cooler the more you get on it.
No need for a meth kit right away under 8psi. Iat's won't get higher than 120deg or so up to 100+mph.
I say TVS!

allen
Yes Allen, agreed that you will not need a Meth kit with a TVS. I was talking about if the did get a 112 unit, he would need the meth kit. I can't tell you how many people who have run a 112, 112HH, 122 Radix units that have unusually high IATs. But they have done a great job on the unit design of the new TVS systems to keep the internal temps down by making it super efficient. I say go TVS too--but if you have to fall back on a Radix system--its still a great unit...its a win-win situation for ya!
