    TVS Suburban results

damn, where did I put that dyno graph.

    jk.

    Vehicle: '08 Suburban 3/4ton, 6L/6sp, tvs1900, exactly 5psi.

One thing I've been noticing about these TVS units is, these sob's just keep pulling and pulling.
This stock Suburban is pulling up to 6500rpms.

    Horsepower: 386 @ 6318 rpms
    Torque: 364 @ 4491 rpms
(with more than 300+ torque down low).

These chargers remind me of a centrifgul type, they just keep pulling; something they never did in the past.
According to GM and the cam specs, this cam is obviously out of it's power range, but with the TVS, it pulls like it has a mild cam in it (as far as peak power).

I'm kicking myself for not dyno'n this truck stock, but the guys had it pulled apart and the laying on the engine before I even got in that morning.
Anyone have a dyno chart or numbers from a similar truck on a superflow dyno?
I'm guessing it would be around 250-265hp to the wheels.

Back to the dyno, there's still a few more degrees of timing left and a/f ratio is on the safe side.

    later,
    allen

The 1900 is more than enough for a 6L and a 6.2L with mild bolt ons.
If I were doing heads and cam, or demanded more boost, I'd do the 2300.

We did a 383 h/c and only got 10psi out of it. NOW, if magnacharger had the 2 pulley setup on this thing, then we could spin it over faster.
A larger crank pulley and smallest charger pulley just didn't do it.

    I bet the 1900 would make 10psi easily on a 6L, probably 15psi.
