Thread: Cluster lights

1. #1
I would put this in the right section, but hopefully i can get faster reponses here. I got bought a new escalade cluster for my truck. Now i have the check engine, air bag, and battery light on. How do you remove the little light that lights these up.

first of all, figure out why those are turning on. second of all, here; read this, http://www.gmfullsize.com/forum/showthread.php?t=24726. that will tell you. By the way while your doing that you should buy my white LED bulbs that will fit it and make your cluster look badass. Here is the FS for my LEDS im selling. http://forum.ls1truck.com/index.php?showtopic=10001

hope that helps.

well if you break those lights you can fail emmisons. i dont know if were you live has emmisons but my area does and they scan the computer and see if the check engine light is burnt out. i would just go to someone with a scanner and clear the codes.

No, they don't check the emissions here. And my truck won't pass emissions anyways haha. I have a very good "friend" that passes my truck when its that time. I fixed the problem, i just put electrical tape over the holes where the lights are BAM problem fixed.
