HEMI speed limiter

At what speed does a stock HEMI shut down? I was on my way to work and passed a ccsb longhorn and two other cars at the same time. I knew he would be comming, so I set the cruse for 60mph. We had to slow for a little town when we exited the town I resumed the cruse. He sat back a ways, then her he came. About 1 truck back him in the passing lane to the floor. I nailed it and he got to my front tire and he never got any farther. At around 110mph I walked away in a tuned 4.8 4x4 scsb.

Next day I killed one of are own. 6.0L 2500 ccsb. I even talked to this kid and he said thats all it had. Do I have a freak truck or is the weight differance that great?

your picking on some heavy trucks but nice kills none the less. they have alot more motor to make up for that weight. i wouldnt say your truck is a freak, but it sounds pretty strong

I ran 4 hemis & 1 srt10 so far, I don&#39;t see where they are that fast(hemi), and i&#39;m kinda stock.

That explains it, at 110 I left him. That means mine is faster from 60-100 than that HEMI from say 80-100. I know he was going for it cause when he slowed down he did a U-turn and went back the way he came.
