So i picked up the truck on Thursday from the shop after gettin a new axle put on and straightening the rearend housing. I decided the best place to break it in was the track . Well i was kinda happy with the results, my new best time was a 9.84@73.27 i still spun the tires, tho. Those 4.10's really pull and the posi helped but im still gettin tire spin.(just not as bad) all in all i had fun, tho. My best run was against some punk in a 1990 5.0. he ran a 9.97 to my 9.84, he was the one that picked me out to race, too!!! :flipoff: once again these are 1/8 mile times, i havent been able to get to the 1/4, yet. We dont have one down here in San Diego, just two 1/8 mile tracks.I'll probably be going up to Los Angeles next month to run it up there at one of there 1/4 tracks. Im happy i got to beat two f-150's, a ranger, 5.0 shitstang , and an eclipse, not bad, 5-0. Damn i wish i was closer to Texas, to hang out with you guys, seems you guys have tracks everywhere!!!! Thanks I'll be talking to you this coming week Allen!!

yeah, I ran there this past Friday and I'll be there this Friday, too. Traction is always a problem there as you know. I cant wait to try the barona strip. Traction is great there. Hey, you gonna be there this Friday? I'll be running the trruck again and i'll be helping the kids from Point Loma High School with their Camaro.

I love 1/8th tracks...they are more like how you run on the street anyway.

I might drop by..depends on what we're doin this weekend.

Are you new to qualcomm or have you been runnin for some time?

I've run a few silverados .. one being from superchargers online (ex cab, whippled, nos + h20 4x4 ) ran a 9.3.... jumped off the line (as in a wheelie) and dusted me... -- on 35's i think...

everyone in the croud went silent and the anouncer was like " uh.. thats not supposed to do that ..is it?"

other then him i used to be the quickest truck (aside from the lightnings)

I dusted a hemi silly for 6 runs... and they talked him up real good too.

    haha..

I'd like to get back to being quick. maybe chase down some of those fords...

im not new to Qualcomm, we used to run the beast down there, you might remember it its a yellow 71 camaro that had racelegal all over it. That was the fastest thing down there, sometimes the white vega would get close with the NOS. But as far as the truck, yeah that was the first time. Yeah the hemi that was there never lined up with me. Be cool to see you there, we can tag team on them Bastards!!
