What does a stock SS silverado run in the 1/4 mile?
I got three different mags. saying three different times. From 14.7 to 15.8 et.
What's the truth!!! And they all say (Altitude Corrected)..Whats the big differents, the drives... 1 whole second.

So, anyone with a stock SS. Can you tell me e.t.'s. TEXAS #'s would be great.

January 2nd, I hope to be able to tell you what a nearly stock SS can do. Mine has efans, underdrive pulleys, and we plan to run some with the Nelson Tune, and some without to see the actual difference.

I see you live in Austin. Not far to drive for Jan.2, for you. I'll be there also, so I guess I'll see the SS in person...

Anyone else have 1/4 mile #'s.

Whats the real world SS run???? I haven't seen one run in stock form. I've only seen one at the track, and it was modded out.

I would say mid 15's is about right. I don't know how they got a stock one to run 14.99 but I guess it is possible. Maybe a weight difference due to options.

i think the sport truck would be the more credible of the few mags. mid 15's is about right, i agree.

    for comparison of course....
theres a discussion on a dodge board about the mags and the SRT-10 m-Trend and C/D apparently published higher #'s(13.9 @102 probably for insurance purposes, they tend to race on paper too much) and the sport truck mag published 13.21 @ 108(more real world for a 500+hp motor)...the latter being more believable if you ask me

I think 13.21 would be more in line with slicks on the SRT-10 but with street tires 13.9 sounds very beliveable.

I got 15.3 with only 950 miles on the motor. Most have done a tenth or two better than me.

Ah very nice times, and a very nice looking truck. I love that color. There are all black ones here in town.
