im replacing the 5.3 engine in my 02 z71 suburban with an 05 lq9 engine. the truck is lifted with 35 inch tires. im not trying to make this truck haul ass, but i am wanting more horsepower and torque. i have a nelson computer that has been made to give as much power as possible for the 6.0. since im beefing up the engine and all what do i need to do to make the stock transmission stronger? allen nelson is taking out the torque management and increasing shift points. what else do i need to do so that the transmission can hangle all the extra power?

Transgo HD2 shift kit, hardened seperator plate, aluminum accumulator piston, vette or sonnax servos, and possibly kevlar bands. That'd get you around nicely and safely.
