Thread: Mounting AC compressor

    What are you guys doing to mount the AC compressor? The only place I have to do it is on the top passenger side of truck. (98 Chevy with and Ls1) The truck came with a bracket, which i cant figure out for the life of me. Ill attach some pictures.

    I dunno... maybe with this side pointing upward, with compressor bolted to it...



    ...and this tis bolted to the pass-side head (dunno if bol holes align).



    I assume you've tried every way possible.

    Here's what I did. Worked great! A 5.3 A/C compressor with another groove machined on the balancer. Wish I could help you with the bracket.

    I am new (obviously 1 post) and no formal intro yet. What I see and agree with C10 is the plate with 3-holes and no bosses, will bolt to the front of the right head (if the holes line up).
